Somethimes when I listen to sting, It gives me feeling that he sings out of tune. Maybe is that his kind of style.But, Does somebody know more about this?
@howen77 When he was a child, his father took him to the seaside and told him he would have liked him to be a sailor when he grew up. Back then Sting didn’t understand what it meant, but now he knows that his father wanted him to have fun. – Sting told us that story on the concert few weeks ago.

He’s actually a member of the Queens Navy, inactive of course; but he did serve, reached corporal (? )(or commander).
@Naitta I would take a guess, i could be wrong. but memories are created by us and not always accurate. Sting would have favorite memories of his father, and maybe forget other memories…and the memories change over time.
so it is with the North. the North pole is an accurate measurement on many place on earth except for when you get to the north pole, then true north can’t be found, the magnet needle goes haywire.
