China Focus: Sharon Stone and Chinese “Karma”
In a recent interview, actress Sharon Stone questioned whether the Sichuan earthquake might be “karma” for the Chinese treatment of Tibet. Her comments incited thousands of angry blog postings worldwide, but why has such a brief, spontaneous comment has created such an outcry?

Half of Sichuan is Tibetan area occupied by China. Part of Gansu, Yunan and whole of Qianghai is Tibetan area along with so called TIbet autonomous Region.
25% China landmass belong to Tibet. China occupied Tibet in 1949-50.
Chinese government officals build non-eathquake proof schools in Sichen,an earthquake zone.The schools fall like pancakes killing a generation of children.Sharon Stone?The Chinese goverment and media are attacking who?

Funny because Sichuan is actully the Chinese province with the largest number of ethnic Tibetans residing outside Tibet. Many of the earthquake victims were Tibetans as well.
