Sharon Stone in Magnum PI, with Blade Runner end title music
This is the opening scene of Sharon Stone’s appearance in the US TV series “Magnum, PI”. This clip is taken from the episode 1 of Season 5; “Echoes of the Mind: Part 1″ and was originally broadcast on 27th September 1984. Curiously, the music in this clip is a variation of the end titles of the film “Blade Runner”. Vangelis seems to be uncredited.

what a pussycat!!! Sharon Stone is a real PUSSYcat!!
I hate to break it to you guys, but the reason Vangelis was never given credit for this track was because like so many other music tracks used in this series, it was most likely the work of some cover band or music group “inspired” by Vangelis.
Even when you look up Vangelis on IMBD, credits go back to the 60s for his music and nowhere does it mention Magnum PI. I was actually surprised at how many TV show tracks were done by this artist.
@rezzacs1: What?!
Wow, she was a really bad actress. But who cares when she looked like that.
sure the 911 turbo was faster, but given the choice , i would take a 308gtsi over the porsche any day….its not all about speed u know.
@SpookeyR
Does anybody no where i can dowload magnum p.i. ?
But, did Vangelis ever receive any compensation for the usage of his music, specifically, in this episode?
I just checked imdb….and it now says that the Magnum P.I. movie won’t be out till 2011… Go figure!
oeh i saw this episode ^^ love Magnum PI
no you arewrong the porsche 911 turbo beats the 308 gts
It’s too bad she won’t live, but then again who does?
It was common for many shows in the 80′s to use songs or music from other artists, but this was eventually stopped.
Sharon Stone, Porsche design’s Carrera sunglass, white Porsche 930, Vangelis, Magnum PI….. Super epic!!!!!!
Vangelis is tha king
Incorrect, it is the first episode of Season 5, broadcast in September 1984. Season 5 dude, maybe that’s why they put it on disc 5 of your box set you numpty.
This episode is from season 1 on disk 5, not season from season 5 as claimed.
OMG..Diedre’s got the Porsche up to 70 MPH! WOW!
Porsche’s suck. Ferrari 308 GTS all the way, baby!
Yeah, I had no idea either. Crazy to go back and watch old TV shows and see who passed through them and became huge successes later.
Oh yeah btw: This is not the Vangelis version of the song, it’s a cover made by New American Orchestra.
Cool episode, and amazing cover of the Blade runner soundtrack!
OOoouuuhhhh!! I remembered this episode but didn’t remember it was Sharon Stone who played the crazy chick!!!
I bet her pussy was still tight back then.
What the hell? Replicant! It’s a Replicant!
They are making a movie based on the show, due out in 2009.
Curiously, in this video clip, if they don’t give Vangelis credit for using his music I have to wonder if he received any sort of compensation. If the co. that owns the rights to this (CBS? ..parent co. I believe is Viacom) decided to be retarded, again, and have this video removed, as they have done to so many others, they would be stinking hypocrites…
