Tom Cruise in The Color of Money
Tom Cruise is phenomenal. He gives a nice show, but he really can play pool. This is my favorite scene from the movie. Starring – Tom Cruise as Vincent and Paul Newman as Fast Eddie Felson. Songs: Eric Clapton – “It’s In The Way That You Use It” & Warren Zevon – “Werewolves of London”.
@Warren85nc Gee, and I thought old Tom did all that world-class stuff… Are you absolutely 100% sure? I think Tom could beat anybody in the whole world. It looked like Tom’s hands – especially the close-up of the hairy-handed one. I think Tom is the werewolf of London. Wa-hoooooooooooooooooo… Draw-blood!

What a classic scene. All done with no cuts and no funny business. He must have done this scene a hundred times to get it PERFECT . DOOM !!

not only that!!!!!! He can shoot a mean ass game of pool….Trust me he is good at pool….look at his stroke.
2:44…No way in hell an experienced pool player would do that to a high end que. Warp it or break it maybe but, more than likely loosen the joint.
I did love this movie though. Yes, Tom can act but I think Paul “Fast Eddie” Newman had him trumped for this flick.

True except for DOOM isn’t the father of FPS. If anything that belongs to Wolfenstein 3D.

i love this movie but i just wanted to smack vincent in the face throughout the whole movie, he isnt actually as good as the film makes out

I love this scene with all off Vince’s posturing and warren zevon on the soundtrack, but if you acted like this in a real pool hall you’d most likely leave in an ambulance.
