idk why but the last part of the movie when it shows the “old Briony’s” face when she’s explaining everything is in my opinion the saddest part…you just realize that she never forgives herself for it, couldnt help that extremely depressing music is playing

*gasp* It is the most bitter sweet, painful yet thrilling contradictory movie that I hate to love. Every time I watch it my tears start running down uncontrollably despite psychologically preparing beforehand. It is the most spectacular romantic movie that actually has substance and vigor to it. The actors portray realistic roles while the storyline embraces beauty. It makes you value life so much more, and by having watched it you feel like you have undergone a journey from death to life.

This is probably wrong to say, but I mean nothing negative with it… But everytime Keira Knightley is supposed to talk in a sad emotion, she always remind me of Kate Winslet in Titanic, when he tries to scream “come back!” at the end..

This movie was epic in so many ways. Engaging plot, stunning music score, and artfully skilled cinematography. Heartbreaking but beautiful.
I’v never watched this movie, but I am in love with the musical score.
I don’t really like these kinds of movies but I will watch it soon.
@Alabamafries I think Kiera is gorgeous! I adore her kind of beauty, but in my mind while I was reading the book, I was imagining that she looked more like Lindsey. I’m pretty sure that it had something to do with the way Ian described her lips, and, well, the rest of her face. I might have read something wrong, or completely not gotten what the author was describing, but it’s just what I believe.
