Why do people like Laurance of Arabia? I really didn’t get that film, and Laurance didn’t seem like a nice/likeable man.
Also: Why are all the comments for this interview with Hilary Swank about how attractive or not she is? I think she’s a great actor, and I love the types of roles – and films – that she chooses. I haven’t seen her in a comedy or romance yet.
She reminds me of a younger Julia Roberts in her acting, appearance and personality. I love both of them!

Hilary, what an amazing film. As a guy to say I actually loved a love film takes a lot. I’d recommend this film to everyone as its an unforgettable, moving story. I really hope to see you more on the big screen. Your an outstanding woman and great example for all of us.

Depends if you’re looking at the ACTUAL Brandon Teena, or the ACTRESS Hilary Swank. <— she technically is being very very butch. She’s acting like a boy as well as she can, (which is incredibly well the way I see it), but inside she’s really a girl.
Brandon Teena was a real transexual.

A persons mind justifies thier gender. A woman dressing and living like a man can be a crossdresser, transsexual, or intersexed. Technically a woman can get surgery to get a penis, so she can become a man by your definition. And I’m guessing you would be upset if someone started calling you a he. (Or a she, if you’re a boy. I can’t tell by your name, sorry).
One of the best movies i’ve ever watched (after trainspotting)! I It’s pitiful to see so many hate crimes occuring all around the world, and this movie really is sensitizing.
