@aborcsp Mate, It was used as an anthem and people have the right to do that. However, people shouldn’t hear the song and just think it’s a gay song, it’s about freedom and rights. Hi I saw the other reply you got. It was rude and I’m sure if he/she had any sense they’d apologise. It isn’t for just gay or lesbian or bi poeple. It is a song telling every individual in the world to be their own person and be proud of themselves. I can however see why you’d think it’s for people of same sex persuasion, I think you get that more because Gloria Gaynor made this at a time when homosexuality was unaccepted a lot more than now and wanted to stress that point a little more.
