@yankeefanbryson19 Yeah sorry about that, I meant to say playstation exclusive, However the ps2/psp games are not really comparable to the PS3 version in most areas.

the actual pitching mechanics of both are shitty….i really wish that there was a MVP 2010 they had the best MLB games ever…good pitching and batting that really matched the actual people…thats what i like and neither game really does this
played both and this year I have to give it to 2K10.. The Show is being lazy and the roster update didn’t do it for me.

2K10 has Pretty good Commentators, awesome Pitching/batting mechanics (especially the pitching, the pitching meter is just ugly and boring).
but The Show has got great realism (graphics, better day/night change, empty seats, fans trying to catch foul balls…etc), and catcher mode.
I just wish they would make one freaking game compatible with Xbox and PS3 that would combine the best of these two games !!! I’m sick of this 2K-The Show-war… it’s getting ridiculous. and I don’t know what to buy !

iv played both and own both and i must say i have been a show fan for years. Iv always have picked the show over 2k…..not this year. for over the last 3 years the show has done the same damn thing OVER AND OVER, we get you look great but u never change anymore. 2k9 was garbage but 2k10 is a HUGE step. way better game. sry “the show” but 2k is having a comeback. RIP MVP baseball

I bought the MLB The Show 10 after MLB 2K9 and I must say the Show is WAAAAAYY better. Better graphics, better gameplay, better baseball.

My advise would be if you own a PS3, download both demos and try them for yourself! If you own a 360 only well then your kind stuck unless you want to buy a new console just to play the Show (I’d have said it was totally worth it last year and the year before but this year I think 2Ks effort is pretty awesome and which game you prefer is a matter of personal taste rather than a no brainer!

@axebodyspray71 I agree here actually. Ive been a staunch fan of The Show for the last few years but after playing both demos I decided this year to plump for 2K10. The Show IS better graphically and in overall presentation but the core game mechanics of baseballe (namely pitching and batting) just feel sooo much better in 2K10. Not to mention that the MLB Today feature is AWESOME.
@chilltown5k i have an xbox and 2k10 was the last straw im getting a ps3 for the show and everything else. i play on my 42 inch plasma and 2k10 is so pixled and what not id rather just play mvp baseball(best game ever made), 2k10 looks foolish and outdated compared to the show

THE SHOW > 2kXX no matter what you say 2k series is always playing catch up to the show. Those of you who like 2k10 might just be completely blind because it is quite obvious who has the better graphics and game play. The only area i wish the show will just improve the commentaries or maybe get the espn commentators like 2k10 does.
@chilltown5k I have PS3 and Xbox and after playing 2k10 and The show I think that 2K10 is the better one of the two. The pitching and hitting just feels better in 2k10 in the show its the exact same as it is in every other baseball game.
