Crisco is not lard, it is a combination of blend of soybean oil, etc.
BTW, loved their interactions and antidotes!
I quite liked how well these two bounced off each other. Obviously bonded over the height!
Brooke’s face at 1:58 when Miranda says “Annoyingly, you win” !!! For a second she thought the comedian was being serious…hehehehe
‘I’ll see you’re buckwheat, and raise you animal fat’ <3 Love Graham Norton

This is sad. by any mean necessary I guess. Not my child I do not care about money that much and stardom.
@Samariaeyes7 money maybe??iys 1978
I like the film because of the beautiful Brooke, but I can’t understand a mother who allows or wills her ten years old daughter to act naked in a movie…this is a shame
I’m perturbed about the spoiling of innocence — that a twelve-year-old child, actress or not, should know about such things. I’m referring to Brooke Shields, not the character, of course.
I love that rendition of Gladiolus Rag (or do I have the wrong piece?).
@Huwinwales Well said!
hmmm that guys seems to be “Acting” TOO good LOL
if u wacth the moive ,the mom brings the girl with her to a mans room.
actually she was 10 or 11 when she did the nude scene
Pretty Baby was a daring and provocative film.
It may not have entirely pulled off what it attempted to but there were some fine performances and it is a challenging and worthwhile film.
Astounding performance from a very young actress.
People are concerned now that the subject matter is unsuitable and damaging.
I disagree.
Back in the 70′s the final barriers of sex in cinema and society were broken down. They opened up everything to discussion. To my mind, this freedom and exploration led inevitably although it took about 15 years, to opening up to public view the insidious and pervasive exploitation of children that had been happening all the time but was not spoken about, thought about and certainly not dealt with.
We haven’t gotten it right yet, but the idea of hiding sex away did not work before and never will
@safehouse123 Seriously.. Go to WIKIPEDIA and you will find out.
@juancamex keith carradine? i dont think so. anyway, madonna is an italian woman from new york….violet is a little girl …influenced by adults.
Goddamn, I’ve never seen any 12 years old that beautiful before…and I don’t mean it in a bad way…
that man is a pervert
I still think Brooke is one of the most beautiful women ever.
Anyone recognize the guy in the movie??????????? The one that falls in love with Violet?????? Well is the guy in the Video Material Girl of Madonna.. Got it?????
Keith Carradine…. okay girls – whose up for a collective fangirl sigh??
